Privacy Policy: How We Handle Your Data

There are two distinct types of data: we handle records needed to provide and manage the service; you manage files on your dedicated physical node. This policy explains the boundaries and how to submit data requests.

01 Scope

This policy applies to the VMRental website at vmrental.com, the console after you sign in, and cloud Mac rental services set up and managed through these interfaces. It explains what personal information and service records we process to provide our services.

Project files, model weights, build artifacts and other user content on a dedicated physical Mac mini are separate from account and order records. You manage files on your node. See Section 4 for file ownership and what happens when your rental ends.

02 Information We Collect

When you create and use an account, we process the email address and verification details you provide for signing in. We use this information to identify your account, provision your node, send order-related notices and verify your identity when you request support.

When you place an order and pay, we record the selected model, node, billing period, add-ons, order status, payment result and billing records. We use these records to fulfill orders, display charges and respond to reconciliation requests.

Node usage logs are limited to operational records needed to provide and protect the service, including connection times and traffic measurements. We may use them to troubleshoot connection issues, verify usage and detect unusual access. These logs do not include files stored on your node.

03 How We Handle Payment Data

Card payments are accepted through Stripe for Visa, Mastercard and Amex. Stripe processes your card details; VMRental does not store your full card number. We receive payment status and transaction records needed to complete orders and reconcile payments.

USDT-TRC20 payments are priced in US dollars (USD). For these payments, we record the transaction hash, associated order and amount in USD to verify receipt. Payment records are not used to access files on your node.

Available payment gateways are shown in real time in the console. For help verifying a payment, submit a console ticket with your order number. Do not send full card details in a ticket or email.

04 Data on Your Dedicated Node

Your rental is a dedicated physical machine, not a shared virtual machine. You own the source code, models, assets and build outputs you store on your node; we do not access the contents of these user files.

Back up and move any files you want to keep before your rental ends. Once the service expires and the node is reclaimed, its disk is securely erased. Files on the node are not kept as long-term backups. See Section 6 for how account and order records are retained.

Keep your connection credentials secure when accessing your node via SSH or a graphical interface. If you notice an unusual connection, sign in to the console and submit a ticket with the instance and relevant time so we can check the operational records.

05 Cookies & Usage Analytics

The website and console use cookies required to keep you signed in, secure your session and provide core features. Disabling these cookies may prevent your login state or order activity from working properly.

We use anonymous usage analytics to understand page visits and navigation paths, helping us improve our documentation and service access points. Analytics are not used to read files on your physical node and do not change the fact that you manage data stored there.

06 Retention Periods & International Transfers

We retain account information for as long as needed to provide account services. We keep order, billing and payment reconciliation records for as long as needed to fulfill orders and meet financial obligations or resolve disputes. Node usage logs are kept only as long as needed for usage measurement, security investigations and related requests; when no longer needed, they are deleted or anonymized.

Physical nodes are available in five regions: Singapore, Japan (Tokyo), South Korea (Seoul), Hong Kong and the US West. Files you place on a node are processed on a physical machine in your selected region. Remote access and service delivery may also involve transferring necessary account and connection information across regions.

Choose a node region when you place your order; availability is shown in real time in the console. Before choosing a region, consider your data location requirements and your team's access needs.

07 Access, Correction, Deletion & Export

You can ask to access account and order information we hold, correct inaccurate details, or request deletion or export of personal information we can provide. You manage and move files on your node yourself; requests to export account data are not a backup of node files.

Submit a ticket through theconsole, specifying the type of request and the relevant account or order. You can also email support@vmrental.com. To make sure we don't disclose data to the wrong person, we first verify the requester's account identity before processing the request.

If some records must be retained to fulfill an order, reconcile payments or meet applicable requirements, we will explain what cannot be deleted right away and why. We will process requests for other eligible data.

08 Policy Updates & Contact

We will update this page if our data practices or service scope changes and, where appropriate, notify you through account-related messages. We recommend reviewing the current policy before placing a new order or choosing a node region.

For privacy questions, email support@vmrental.com. If you already have an account, you can alsosign in to the console and submit a ticket. Describe the type of data involved and the purpose of your request. Do not include node passwords or full payment details in your email.

This policy is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the platform operator is based. Any disputes that must be resolved through litigation will be handled by a court with jurisdiction in that jurisdiction.
